#CesioTrip : Nusakambangan, an Exotic Prisoner Island

Cilacap. What's going on in your mind when you hear that word? I bet that you'll think about its beach, "Ngapak" language :v, a lot of Oil Refinery, and of course, Nusakambangan Island. It's an island located in south of Cilacap, and it's known as the place for the prisoner, because there's a big jail, and some of the most dangerous man have been executed here. Uh, that sound frightening. But, enough for the chit chat. What I wanna write here is about our trip there. So, let's begin.

The first thing I want you to know is please don't think that Nusakambangan doesn't have any good sight only because of its "The Prisoner Island" nickname. When we get there, we didn't find any frightening place, at least not really much....

Alright, here's our story..

We did this trip on the 23rd of August .We gathered at Yafi's house at about 08.00. Actually, based on our previous plan, we planned to start our trip at 08.00, but because there were some who came late, so finally we started our trip at 09.00. Oh, before that, there were 17 people here. During our journey, we didn't find any obstacles. At about 10.00, we arrived at Ella's house, then we continued our journey, and finally we arrived at Teluk Penyu Beach, a brown sand beach located in south of Cilacap

Obviously, we took some photos first, because it's a must for us :v

After we finished playing around the beach, we were heading straight to Nusakambangan beach using a small boat.

Yosh, after 30 minutes sailing across the sea, we arrived at Nusakambangan. Yap, my thoughts about this island were wrong. I thought there were a few of people, reality? There's a lot of people there, and there's some local people there. Even there's a mini bus there, we chose to walk on foot. If we had chosen that bus, we would have arrived at the beach earlier.

Along our way to the beach, we met with some local people and tourists there, even there were some foreign people there. I wondered what did these tourist do here, were they visited here for some reasons? Ah, I guess it didn't important. Ok, moving on.

During our way, we found an old building there. Some people said that it was built by Netherlands Army during their occupation here. We didn't wanna miss this moment, so we took a photo here.

Finally, we arrived at the beach! I didn't know what is the name :v, so let's just call this a "White Sand Beach". Hmm maybe because it was sunday, so many people came here to enjoy the sight, or maybe they just want to refresh their mind from their daily routine. Some of us were playing here (especially the boys), while the others just enjoy the scenery here. With the wind graze our skin, and the bright sun, made us more relaxed here. Then, after we finished playing around, of course, you know what we were going to do. Yes! Took some photos (again :v).

At about 15.00, we went back to Cilacap. At first, there were nothing wrong, until we reached the exit point. We supposed to left the island at 15.30, but because there were a "technical failure on the boat" (they said), so we arrived at Teluk Penyu Beach at 16.00, far from our previous prediction. That's why, we couldn't arrive at Purwokerto before dusk. Before we went back to our home, we took a dinner together near Ella's house. Even though next day we would face a daily test, but we think it's not a problem for us.

Finally, after this exhausting trip, we went back to our own home safely. Even we were exhausted, but we were so happy. We didn't know when we could do this again, because now we're a 3rd grader, which means that a lot of test and tryout will face us. Actually, before this, we had done a lot of trip together, but I'll write it later when I got a spare time.

Ok, time for sleep and wait for our next trip! Matursuwun!
